Dr. Amanda Wilson
DVM & Co-OwnerDr. Amanda Wilson achieved her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She is proud to serve as an Owner and Partner Veterinarian at Cherokee Hospital for Animals and has over thirteen years of experience as a general practitioner for small animals.
Dr. Wilson began working in the veterinary field in 2004 as a veterinary assistant and receptionist and has advanced training in Diagnostic Ultrasound, Soft Tissue Surgery, and Internal Medicine. Her compassion for animals, along with her strengths in science and math, inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Wilson grew up on a small farm in Milan, Tennessee, and currently lives in Greeneville, Tennessee with her husband, T.K., their son, and their four fur babies: Miniature Doxie Cinni, Black Lab Dubs, Tricolor Beagle Cooper, and Hitchy Cat. When Dr. Wilson is not practicing quality veterinary medicine, she loves to cook, enjoys designing charcuterie and cheese boards, and spends as much time as possible with her family, friends, and pets.
